Prerequisites

  • A Wiacom location with an API-connected controller
  • At least one SSID assigned the WiFi Pass role on the controller
  • WiFi Pass activated on your Wiacom plan

Steps

1

Enable WiFi Pass

Go to Locations → select your location → WiFi Pass → Enable.
2

Choose Provisioning Mode

Under WiFi Pass → Settings:

WiFi controllers do not natively enforce PSK expiry. Wiacom enforces expiry by revoking credentials on the controller on an hourly schedule.

Go to WiFi Pass → Email. In Confirmed mode, configure both emails: the confirmation request and the credential delivery.
5

Test End-to-End

  1. Register via your onboarding channel (Guest Connect URL, portal, etc.)
  2. Verify the credential delivery email arrives with passphrase and QR code
  3. Connect a device using the personal passphrase
  4. Confirm the credential appears in WiFi Pass → Credentials
