Adding a Controller
Go to Inventory → Controllers → click Add controller → select your WiFi vendor.Removing a Controller
- Go to Inventory → Controllers
- Click the controller name → Settings → Remove controller
- Confirm removal
Removing a controller does not delete registered guests or their credentials from Wiacom, and does not push any changes to the physical WiFi controller.
API Credential Rotation
- Go to the controller settings → Edit credentials
- Paste the new API key
- Click Validate and save
Sync Behaviour
Wiacom performs automatic background syncs every 6 hours. You can trigger a manual sync at any time via Sync from controller. A sync does:- Add newly created SSIDs
- Update SSID metadata
- Remove SSIDs deleted on the controller
- Refresh the AP inventory
- Overwrite Wiacom role assignments (Portal / WiFi Pass / Key Access)
- Overwrite location mappings
- Push configuration changes to the controller
