Credentials

Wiacom manages three types of WiFi credentials depending on the product and SSID mode configured for each location.

Credential Types

A single WPA2 passphrase shared by all registered guests at a location. Managed in Inventory → Controllers → [controller] → [SSID] → Edit.

Stored encrypted in Wiacom
Delivered to registrants by email on Guest Connect registration
Can be updated at any time; Wiacom pushes the change to the controller immediately
All connected devices are disconnected if the password is changed

A unique passphrase provisioned per registrant on the WiFi controller. Managed in WiFi Pass → Credentials.

Attribute	Description
Passphrase	16-character random alphanumeric string
Provisioned at	Timestamp when the credential was created
Expires at	Timestamp when the credential will be revoked (if expiry is configured)
Status	Active / Suspended / Expired / Deleted

Select multiple credentials in WiFi Pass → Credentials to:

Wiacom never exposes passphrase values in the admin interface after provisioning
iPSK passphrases are stored encrypted in the Wiacom database
All credential operations are logged in the audit trail under Account → Audit log
