Locations
A Location in Wiacom represents a single physical venue. Each location has its own registration page, WiFi credentials, portal splash page, analytics dashboard, and guest database.
Creating a Location
- Go to Locations and click Add location
- Enter the location name, address, and timezone
- Click Save
Guest Connect, WiFi Pass, and Portal are all disabled by default — enable each product independently.
Location Settings
| Setting | Description |
|---|
| Name | Display name shown in the admin and in guest emails |
| Address | Physical address; used for analytics and MSP filtering |
| Timezone | Used for analytics and session expiry calculations |
| Slug | URL identifier used in the Guest Connect URL (connect.wiacom.ai/[slug]) |
| Tags | Custom tags for filtering in multi-location views |
Once a Guest Connect URL has been published or printed, changing the slug will break existing QR codes and links.
Multi-Location and MSP
- All locations are visible from the top-level Locations view
- Use tags to group locations by region, brand, or client
- Analytics can be viewed per-location or aggregated across a tag group
Deleting a Location
Deleting a location permanently deletes all guest registrations, consent records, and analytics data. This action cannot be undone.
- Go to the location settings
- Click Danger zone → Delete location
- Type the location name to confirm
