Wiacom integrates with virtually any enterprise or SMB wireless infrastructure. The platform supports three integration modes — cloud API, local controller API, and manual configuration — and where neither API path is available, Wiacom Agent can bridge the gap. No hardware replacement is required. Wiacom works alongside your existing access points and controllers.

Integration Modes

ModeHow it worksWhen to use
Cloud APIWiacom connects directly to the vendor’s cloud management platformVendor offers a cloud dashboard with an API (e.g. Cisco Meraki, Aruba Central)
Local controller APIWiacom communicates with an on-premises controllerVendor controller is self-hosted and exposes a local API (e.g. Ruckus SmartZone, UniFi)
Manual / LegacyDevice is configured directly with Wiacom RADIUS and portal settingsAny vendor — no API required
Wiacom AgentLocal appliance bridges Wiacom cloud to equipment inside a private networkEquipment is only reachable locally — no cloud API available
